RMDMA WORKSHOP COVERS SOCIAL MEDIA AND WHY “WHEN YOU BUILD IT THEY WON’T COME”

The Rocky Mountain Direct Marketing Association (RMDMA) workshop at Regis College on February 15 featured Michael Myers, Adjunct Professor at Daniels School of Business talking about the various tools available for social marketing.

His theme, “Build it and They Won’t Come” is based on the idea that just building a website is not enough. You must promote that site with the various web tools available such as SEO, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and others. Companies may not want to use all the tools available but should select the ones that their customers use most often.

The evening was labeled Workshop & Wine as immediately following the workshop the RMDMA monthly schmoozer was held next door at the Chinook Lounge.

Members and guests had the opportunity to network with others in the industry.
